##ICON_NAME## AT&T has recently released a few more commercials. Two of them are the typical Luke Wilson commercials comparing AT&T to Verizon and third (released today) gives statistics on AT&T’s overall network… it’s a little boring but, it does have some interesting numbers.

Apple is preparing to launch a pair of new TV advertisements for the iPhone 3GS that directly attack competing carriers, most specifically Verizon Wireless. Both ads—uploaded online with the titles “What Time’s the Movie?” and “Did You See My Email?”—feature the iPhone being used against a white backdrop, similar to most of Apple’s recent iPhone commercials. While both ads show various apps in …

digg_url = ‘http://digg.com/apple/Apple_hits_back_at_Verizon_in_new_iPhone_ads_video’; Now look, we’re not saying we know for sure that Apple thinks Verizon’s latest round of merciless attack ads on its device and US carrier are worth responding to, but these latest iPhone spots would certainly suggest it. ##ICON_NAME## You may have seen the first commercial AT&T launched as a direct attack on Verizon. Over the week-end they released a few more commercials targeting Verizon; Two Phones and Postcards (two part commercial). They both are part of the Truth About 3G campaign. Like the first commercial, these ones also star actor Luke Wilson.

Personal Opinion – Two Phones… not too bad, Postcards… lame. Check them out below.

##ICON_NAME## AT&T recently released a letter to it’s customers addresses the latest Verizon Ads and their misrepresentation of AT&T’s coverage. Below is their letter.

AT&T Sets the Record Straight on Verizon Ads

To Our Customers:

AT&T’s wireless data coverage reaches 303 million people — or 97% of the U.S. population, where they live and work. Our data coverage consists of 3 different types of technology:

##ICON_NAME## Ok guys, this video technically hit YouTube about a week ago but I thought I would post it for those of you who haven’t seen it. It is in reply to the Verizon Droid ad – “iDon’t.” It’s pretty fun. Ok honestly… I totally laughed out loud! :)

iDon’t Care – Reply to Verizon’s iDon’t Ad

##ICON_NAME## I know you guys may have already seen this, but it’s one of those things I just have to write about. Last week, Verizon launched an ad that targeted the iPhone and AT&T however, that ad (There’s an Map for That), doesn’t attack the iPhone as obviously as Verizon’s new Droid ad does. The new ad is titled iDon’t and points out all the features the iPhone does not have in which the Droid does.

It seems that Verizon is taking a very pointed and specific marketing strategy… make the iPhone look bad. Even the Droid’s website is playing up the theme. Check it out HERE.

You can view both ads below.
