Apple recently released “First Step,” an iPhone commercial displaying the ability to take, send and play video as well as the ability to conference call with ease.
“My son started walking the other day. Which was amazing. So I recorded it. Sent it to everyone, right away! Then we all jumped on the phone at once to talk about it. Which was kinda amazing too! We would never have shared all that without the iPhone.”

“It’s kinda incredible. With the iPhone i don’t even mind being on hold. I can check my email. Pay some bills. And when I hear “a representative will be with you shortly”. I can even do this. I need my iPhone for well, everything.”

iPad (Tablet) Keynote Video Now Available on Apple.com
Today I will be live blogging during the Apple event. I’m going to do it a little different from the past. I’m not going to attempt to write every little thing that happens on this one post. I will be taking notes from the event and then, later, writing full articles about each point. What we’ll be doing during the events is tweeting and live streaming both major iPhone and Tablet announcements and sharing our comments. There will be a live video feed from me and an area where you can either live chat (type), comment in the post, or reply via twitter.
We will also be tweeting as much info as possible from our @iphoneschool twitter account for those of you on mobile devices.

It seems as though AT&T and Verizon are not losing steam on this whole commercial vengeance thing. Both AT&T and Verizon have recently released a new commercial. Verizon is targeting Apple this time around instead of AT&T. It could be in retaliation to the commercials Apple released last week targeting Verizon. The difference is, Apple does it so smoothly and Verizon is tactless.
Either way, I think both Verizon and AT&T’s commercials are slipping in quality. You can check them both out below.

You may have seen the first commercial AT&T launched as a direct attack on Verizon. Over the week-end they released a few more commercials targeting Verizon; Two Phones and Postcards (two part commercial). They both are part of the Truth About 3G campaign. Like the first commercial, these ones also star actor Luke Wilson.
Personal Opinion – Two Phones… not too bad, Postcards… lame. Check them out below.

The Developers of jQTouch describe it as “A jQuery plugin for mobile web development on the iPhone, iPod Touch, and other forward-thinking devices.” In English, that means they have a sweet development kit to help web app developers create awesome interfaces in Safari. There isn’t an easy way to describe it all so here are a bunch of great videos demoing what can be done with jQTouch in Safari.
